  1. As a naturalized citizen I know exactly how he feels. I moved here as a kid and couldn't wait until I was old enough to become a citizen. I served 23 years defending the Constitution and traveling overseas during that time made me appreciate the country I love even more. What disturbs me is most of the lunatics wanting to tear the place down were born here. Trust me, once the U.S. disappears people will have nowhere to go and no one to turn to. Maybe then, as they are led off to the gulag they'll realize just how wrong they were.

But there is no way I would ever live in a state where a statue of Lenin is erected in its largest city and the government is dominated by Marxist politicians who simply ignore the Constitution and behave any way they want.   25. I did a 20 + year career. About 10 years ago my nephew and I had a long discussion. He had about six years in and was thinking about making it a career. He wanted my advice and it broke my heart to tell him I didn't think it was a good idea, especially since I was the one who had taken him around to see the recruiters when he was in high school. I saw the drop-off in leadership when I served, how political officers and NCO's were getting ahead while good leaders were being left behind. This was also at a time when obama was in office. I am pretty far from being a fan of GW Bush but I am glad it's his name on my retirement certificate and not that man. I told my nephew the smart move would be to get out and get on with a life beyond the military. He did and is doing okay. That drag queen is just the natural end-game for the people currently running this place into the ground. They want it to fail. Yes we can became yes we did. How's that working out for us? obama is the most consequential president of the past 100 years but for all the wrong reasons. Get right with God, that's free advice.

First, a civilization advanced enough to defeat the problems associated with faster than light travel is probably pretty well past the radio age. So, they were sent 1,000,000,000 years ago and are just now getting to us. The problem with that is, radio transmissions of such a low magnitude would be stretched pretty this by the time they traveled 1,000 light years. It's doubtful we would even notice them. These big blasts come from stars with the juice to produce huge bursts, not the kind Sirius XM transmits. As for these flying saucers, why is it they spend so much time over corn fields in Iowa? Look, I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but the complexities of traveling vast distances in space are such that even a super-duper smart bunch of folks would have trouble over coming them. I believe the grand designer set it up that way. Sorry gang, but don't look for ET to be phoning any time soon. I say this as someone who used to be pumped up about SETI and what they are doing. But once I learned the truth as far as the mechanics of the the thing is concerned, well, as John Adams said: "Facts are stubborn things."

As I was driving back to my place I saw all kinds of trucks and trailers along I-75 South with out of state plates from as far away as Texas hauling electrical generators and other necessary equipment. I also saw an entire caravan of police in a variety of vehicles coming down from Panama City, all ready to go to work helping people out. For every scumbag there are at least 10 good people.
