As a Floridian I love what the governor has accomplished during his term. He has shown the rest of the country you don't have to get bullied by the state-run media and you don't have to be afraid of being called names. In fact, being called names improves your chances of reelection. But we need to hold the reps we send to congress to task. The Liberty Scorecard at Conservative Review is a great tool that lets you know how your rep stacks up when it comes to issues conservatives care about. Florida's republican members of congress have a pretty poor track record when it comes to doing the right thing. It's one thing to be a red state, it's another to do something with that power. These new GOP voters will stay away in droves if the mcconnell and mccarthy wings in congress behave the way squishy republicans have in the past. These Hispanic voters are coming over because the communists running the democratic party have scared the crap out of them and they want a future for their children that includes freedom, not slavery to a group of marxist overlords. That is what their fathers and grandfathers ran away from and they know it when they see it. The republicans are going to get one shot at this. Picking someone other than mccarthy for Speaker would send the right message. Unfortunately, the turtle in the senate is too deeply entrenched to get rid of him. But the new senators can make life uncomfortable for that corrupt old man, maybe enough that he resigns or at least decides in 2024 that him and that chi-com wife of his have stolen enough to live out their remaining couple of years in comfort. Governor DeSantis turned this state red, not the republican party, and unless they want it to go back in the swing column after 2022 they better not act the way republicans normally do, like a bunch of whipped pups afraid of their own shadows.
