If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would certainly strive that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now my kingdom is not from hence.” ― John 18:36. God allowed bad things to happen to His only Begotten Son. Why would we think we would be immune to the evils of this world? God does not create slaves or masters. Free will is His greatest gift. It's how we respond to life's challenges that matter.
