Hitler was a lot of things but Christian certainly wasn't one of them. He was a mystic, but even that was laced in with opportunism. People projected onto Hitler and Hitler welcomed it. He let others create the myth and went along for the ride. The only time you see Nazism linked with Christianity is in the later iterations that popped up in America, and that was largely based on an attempt to link up with the Klan who had this distorted idea that their notions on white supremacy were based on scripture. But that was also opportunistic since the grand wizards were playing to their audience. They had as much use for Christianity as Hitler. But, it did provide the American left a cudgel to beat Christians over the head with, since most of them are opportunistic atheist's. Power. It's all about power. Christ came to humble the powerful and empower the weak. That's why it will never be a useful tool for communists or fascists and will always be the one institution they know they need to kill if their totalitarian utopia is to have any chance of coming into being, which it won't since it is based on the idea that man is supreme and God isn't real. But they will do a lot of damage in the meantime. Hang on kiddies, this party is just getting started.
