Christ is not a representation of the ideal man. He is the Son of God. I dunno, I like Jordan, I appreciate the way he works through his argument in real time, but I'm not sure he will ever be able to accept Jesus as his savior, not some construct. His roots to his secular education just seem to run too deep. Nothing wrong with being educated, I'm educated. Nothing wrong with having questions or doubts, we all have those. But it's like Jordan is stuck between two worlds and is trying to find the middle ground, a third way. I get that in so many of his videos. There is no middle ground. Jesus was clear on this point: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” ― John 14: 6. There is no ambiguity there. Get your inspiration from the source Jordan, and accept Christ for who He is, not for who others say he is. “Who do people say that the Son of Man is? They replied, 'Some say John the Baptist, others Elijah, still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets' He said to them, 'But who do you say that I am?' Simon Peter said in reply, 'You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”' ― Matthew 16: 13-16. Follow St. Peter's lead, not some secular philosopher, your soul will thank you for it right away.
