  1. How cool. You can tell he has genuine reverence for the pioneers and the guitars they played and he also seems to have a real affinity for Gibson and Epiphone. I had a ES 335 back in the day and my brother had an Epiphone acoustic (can't recall the model) that I could make talk. Such great instruments. And Giels shows flat out rocked! As other commenters have put it, you really had to see them live to appreciate it. The energy they created was unlike anything else I've ever experienced. I am truly blessed to have seen them in their prime.
