Cool interview. I've read just about every book on the assassination, those supporting a conspiracy and those not supporting a conspiracy, as well as The Warren Commission Report and a bunch of the declassified documents. You used to be able to peruse them for free at the Mary Ferrell Foundation website before they put most of them behind a pay-wall. I haven't checked that site for a bit but it was a great place for those interested in reading the source documents that were declassified as a result of the JFK Records Act . On a side note, one of my former bosses lived next door to Robert Oswald. He said Robert was a good guy and they talked from time to time but never about the assassination. He figured if he felt like talking about it he would bring it up and well, he never did. Can't say I blame the guy. I had read about Paul Gregory and his father but this is the first time I've heard him speak on the matter. Seems like a bright easy going guy. He confirms what most other people have to say about the Russian ex-pats in Dallas and their feelings toward Lee. They didn't like him and he hated them. He thought they were all traitors to the motherland, even though he didn't think too highly about the Soviet Union at that time himself. When Oswald told the official at the embassy that he was defecting because he was a dedicated Marxist the guy tried to tell him he'd be a lonely man in that neck of the woods because there weren't a whole lot of dedicated Marxists running around the place. Most people just gave lip service to the party because it was the best way to avoid a trip to the gulag. He was a guy looking for a place to fit in and he never found it, looking for love in all the wrong places if you will. Anyway, thanks for posting the interview. I liked it and I look forward to reading Paul's book.
