Now if you would use common sense you would also ask yourself how will Ukraine deal with trenches in the winter? Mud and winter is Russian specialty. Ask Germans how they felt in Russian winter.

night raids could have worked in previous war but not today. We all know night vision is used on both sides. Crossing only means let's do it again while we know the outcome.

@yam2050 more Russian than NATO specialty. NATO is using this for lessons learned as they have only experienced middle east and Africa.

Using common sense would have saved so many lives but it's not an option for those that don't have to risk their own. NATO use this war as "lessons learned" and money machine.

06:30 if they didn't cross now, they won't do it in the winter. It remains a huge flat land and nowhere to hide. Stop suggesting this as an option risking even more lives knowing it simply wont work.

@paddyleather5676 sure, I guess you havent seen a map for a while. Try again. The hardest winter is not in Ukraine and those fighting for Ukraine with NATO weapons are definetely not used to any of that. specially not the Mercs from Syria and Iraq or soldiers from western Ukraine.

@quantumfairing2216 wait, I thought we are talking about Ukrainians. Why do you switch to Finns now? Also how long ago did Finns had to protect their land? It's been a while, right? Practicing is different than being in war.

@quantumfairing2216 first of all, Paddy wrote that Russians and Ukrainians are accustomed to the same climate which I have replied to. Now you bring Finns and NATO which is not part of this war (I thought) atleast I see Ukrainians and few Finns which does not make any bigger difference to the outcome. Again, NATO practice is a different story then being in a actual war.

@quantumfairing2216 learn the difference.. Did Finns fight Soviets alone or did Nazis help them? Stop acting like Finnland was a strong military nation and admit that you are a Nazi fan.

@quantumfairing2216 finns were so weak, they had to sign treaty if they didn't want to lose more. So accepting the defeat is smarter than loosing it all. Something Ukraine will have to learn.

@quantumfairing2216 I wrote.. saying Russians will have hard time in trenches while not mentioning Ukrainians is just wrong because Russians have proven many times they can handle it very good.. So I said, ask Germans how they felt about Russian winter and mud.

@quantumfairing2216 FYI NATO is not FINNLAND. NATO is not Ukraine. Fact is, RAF are better trained and experienced in winter and mud than any other NATO country. let's not talk about little chihuahua states.

@quantumfairing2216 geez you are such a dummy. 1. Yes, I know there is snow in Afghanistan. Still not the type of war we have seen in WW2. 2. Soviets went down to Berlin and you try to tell me they couldn't beat Finns? It was not their focus. 3. Who protected the Finns? Go back to school and learn history. 4. Russia has more winter experience in war then any other country. FACT
