  1. If these "scientists" had confidence that their models could stand up to public scrutiny why haven't they "open sourced" them so to speak. It's the only scientific discipline i'm aware of where a handful of people are responsible for generating a "model" where they want everyone in the world to know the result but not let anyone, even other highly respected scientists, see how they calculated the results or do any form of validation or peer review. That is the opposite of the scientific method and more akin to "trust me bro" While i believe the planet is warming i don't believe a single person in the entire world has any idea what the effects from a 1 degree increase will be. None of them predicted what the effects from reducing sulfur emissions in the shipping industry would have. The IPCC are about as useful on climate predictions as the WHO was during covid. Meanwhile China accounts for over 30% of the worlds cO2 emissions and nobody says a word... yay science!
