  2. I was honestly shocked swollen pickles made the video he did, thought for sure he'd side with labor but was pleasantly surprised. Labors centrepiece solution to the housing crisis is quite literally simply to throw a small amount of money at it. That's it. No more, no less It's putting a large chunk of taxpayer money into an investment fund to (hopefully) earn a small amount of money, everything beyond that is entirely speculative. How much will it earn? No idea. How many houses will it build? No idea. How long will it take? No idea. If it's such a solid plan why don't they throw twice as much money into that investment fund, that'd double the gains right? Which would double the houses or halve the time taken yeah? Why not quadruple it? It's practically guaranteed money with negligible risk according to Jordan, heck let's sextuple it!

  3. Don't get too excited, the "20 year history of taking active steps and concrete action" is an important aspect for why SEFR specifically met the "special interest" condition. It's a step in the right direction for sure and helps a lot with the roadblocks but it doesn't equate to removing them entirely - other organizations would need to meet the same or similar criteria. Don't get me wrong it's good, but it's just a crack in the dam not the full blown burst of it ✌️
