@vladthedragon8250 " How was it an error?" It was an error to bring it up during his closing statement in the manner that he did. It gave the media and Democrats an easy attack vector following the debate which they seized on. He wasn't forced into doing that, it wasn't something that was brought up during the debate nor did he even seem to have a firm grasp on what was reported - as evident by him first saying "cats & dogs" and then quickly changing to "pets". It won't sway his fanbase or haters either way, but for the undecided voters in the middle it did more harm than help - he would have been better off had he simply highlighted the 20k Haitians now living in the small town that has a population of just 60k or not bringing it up at all tbh. He is his own worst enemy and as much as i dislike Kamala, baiting him with the whole crowds leaving his rally thing was another unforced error - one which doesn't even matter to voters and was completely unnecessary to even dignify with a response but he couldn't resist. All he needed to do was stick to undeniable facts and hammer her on achievements (or lack thereof) for the past 3 years. He needs better advisors as he should be doing far better and Kamala clearly has very good ones.

@vladthedragon8250 you think undecided voters sought out information on immigration after hearing Trump say they eat pets and the being immediately fact checked by a moderator huh? Sad state of affairs indeed, yourself included with that pets to immigration pipeline. Yeah, dog lovers all over the land did that, sure thing 🤣

@wellyforpm hearsay is not proof. A video of someone saying their friends daughters best friends cat went missing and a picture of an animal being grilled is hearsay. Unless of course you're saying there is video proof of someone literally skinning and eating a neighbourhood cat, in which case provide a link or the title of the video.
