@robertsteele474 WITH THE SPECIFIC INTENT If one were to apply your loose interpretation of those words, specifically ignoring that you need to prove intent, every conflict between countries in all of history would be deemed genocide. Hamas firing rockets into Israel would be deemed genocide. The US being in Afghanistan for 20 years would be deemed genocide. The conflict between Ukraine and Russia would be deemed genocide. What happens in that scenario where both sides are deemed to be carrying out genocide - do they cancel each other out? Whilst unfortunate and sad, 35k from a population of over 2 million is not genocide by any legal or dictionary definition. Saying something over and over won't make it true.

@retroray58warby98 couldn't care less what the Palestinians appreciate, i vividly remember the celebrations around the world by Palestinians on Oct 8th and i question their morality frankly. It's awful what is happening but it's not genocide. The only mental gymnastics happening are the people trying to redefine the meanings of things as if it's a silver bullet to forcing a ceasefire - it's not.

@retroray58warby98 what do you call what's happening in Ukraine? Do you have a snazzy one liner for that? Only propagandists need such labels, odd that you came up with one with such poor taste - says a lot about you that you said it so casually too. Those are your words and thoughts not mine - ones that are better kept to yourself imo. It doesn't matter what you term it - it won't change what is occurring.
