What about balloons? Has the US military got an anti-balloon system yet? 🤔

You're gunna get so much hate about this being an ad, but as someone very familiar with Hotz and a regular i think you did a good job - i learnt a few new things about him from this video and your delivery felt authentic. 🤷

@beautanner8409 the responsible course of action would have been detecting and dealing with it BEFORE it was above US soil. Shooting it down AFTER it left was even dumber, by that stage i was expecting the military to have devised a plan to capture it so it could be examined. But nope, they just shot it into a million pieces and have no idea what was onboard, what its capabilities were, how it was cobstructed etc. It was possibly one of the worst ways of dealing with such an event, not only from a technical stand point but in terms of optics too. So whilst my original comment was partially in jest, there was an aspect of it which was serious. If another balloon appeared over your state, lingering there for days, would you not think that is a serious issue and a direct result of how the first DETECTED balloon was handled? I'm not one to usually use this phrase but damn, keep licking that boot 🫡

Name checks out 👍🤣

@beautanner8409 the US military has plenty of F-16's - i guess they were all "in the shop" being repaired or something when that Chinese balloon traversed the entire US continent for days eh?

@jens5906 calling Musk a "far right man child" makes you look childish and petty

@Conk-bepis he hacked a non-tesla wirelessly as it was being driven and applied the brakes, similar concept in terms of how the device interfaces with the car.. once you are able to talk on the bus you can control pretty much everything else that is controllable on that bus, even more than is accessible to a human.

Intelligence of 72 is a meaningless statement, intelligence is not represented by a single number. Ergo if something is meaningless or nonsense, it does not correctly compute, if something does not correctly compute it is not right, if something is not right it is wrong. Thus proving the statement "intelligence of 72" is wrong. The meaning of life is 42.

Do you also look like the comic book guy from the simpsons or do you only mimic his behavior?

@beautanner8409 is was a matter of "luck" that civilians were able to detect and film an "unprecedented" balloon from their backyards using their cell phones? Seriously that's what you're going with?! It was sheer luck the world's most advanced military was outdone by Bob with an iPhone 😂 You're adorable. Are you also naive enough to believe they "jammed" the communication signals of this unprecedented object that floated undetected over US soil for days? 😂

@beautanner8409 the US military was able to backtrace the balloon's journey and origin, thus they had the capability of detecting this foreign object long before Bob with an iPhone... but they didn't. What if the next one has a nuclear or explosive payload? Or 100 fortnite players in a bus with guns? There is a much simpler solution to that problem than deploying more Bob's with an iPhone to the Bering sea 😂

@beautanner8409 lol nah bro you are the one who is all over the place trying to justify how a balloon went undetected for days in US airspace. After the balloon was spotted by civilians, the military managed to trace it's path backwards and determin where it came from/where it had been etc. They were able to do this as they have a wealth of data being constantly recorded, it was just a matter of trawling through it. It was an embarrassing and poorly handled event from start to finish. If you don't think so, cool man i ain't here to change your mind.. you want to keep throwing shade and ad hominem at me go right ahead, it speaks more about you than it does myself buddy. "Unprecedented" 🤣

@tullochgorum6323 "we really don't want to make it easy for end users" uhm yes, yes we do. If you think writing software is hard i'd suggest changing career paths, this isn't to say it's easy but would you take your car to a mechanic who told you "servicing vehicles is hard"?!

@tullochgorum6323 i've worked in the industry for over 15 years and have likely written literally millions of lines of code, hundreds of thousands for sure. Autonomous systems are not the hardest engineering challenge humans have ever undertaken, it's not even close to numerous other feats such as landing man on the moon. The mining industry has been using autonomous vehicles for years as just one example, it's called robotic process automation... perhaps your professor has heard of it? There is a well known saying in many technical fields relating to university professors.. "those who can, do; those who cannot, teach"

@tullochgorum6323 true statements can most certainly make you look childish and petty. Being pedantic for example is a form of childish behaviour that hinges on a technicality being true. The "AKSHULLY" comic book guy from the simpsons is a great illustrative example. How old are you? Genuine question, teenager?!
