  2. A return of 0.05% on a 10 billion investment equates to merely 5 million profit. That wouldn't even cover the payment processing surcharge for merchants. Not quite sure it's the loyalty program where Starbucks customers are being taken advantage of compared to the price of a cup of coffee... it's not that functionally different to the subway club card, you pay slightly more for 10 foot longs upfront and eventually get a free one (possibly never making it to 10 or never redeeming prior to the points expiring) I mean the company name is STAR BUCKS not STAR COFFEE after all? 🤔
