  1. Also worth pointing out that only 10% of the 3 million were exports. I will also say that my friend has owned an Atto3 for nearly 12 months now and it has exceeded my expectations. By a lot! It's a great little car and enjoyable to drive... but it hasn't all been smooth sailing. The quality is by no means on par with Tesla and there has been one or two teething issues - not helped by the lack of servicing/repair locations in Aust - but nothing drastic or that has left my friend stranded on the side of the road, it's always been drivable and they got to the bottom of the issues eventually. Plus they provided a loan car for free during the entire time it was "in the shop" getting looked at. All in all i liken it to Hyundai in the 90's - if you're after an affordable EV and can tolerate some growing pains/teething issues as the company matures it's not a bad purchase.. my prediction is they will continue to follow in the same trajectory of Hyundai.if they play their cards right. IE give it 10 years and they'll still be around but with remarkably better quality, cars better tailored towards export markets and more market share.. but they'll never be at the level of Tesla, Mercedes, Ford etc and that's okay. I also don't expect them to remain as cheap, just like Hyundai - except in this case it's more alpng the lines of them being sold below cost to get their foot in the door to export markets, once they get their footing they'll need to at least break even which will result in increased price. Going to be an interesting one watch though, that's for sure...
