  1. ​ @jkadmon  who exactly will be buying the proposed 1 trillion of platinum proof coins and what will the return on them be? He makes the argument that it'd be the equivalent of 1 trillion in treasury bonds, whilst legally this might be true, in reality the market demand for minted coins is far less than bonds and there isn't even much demand for bonds atm following the collapse of SVB when they were forced to cash a large chunk they held at a loss. But hey i'm neither a lawyer or an economist...

  2.  @jkadmon  thats not how it works at all, the minted coins can have any denomination and it most certainly wouldn't be a single coin since who would invest in it? This is why they should have had an economist rather than a lawyer...
