Kamala wasn't even there. The whole panel getting upset over the pronunciation of a name, intentional or not, is peak virtue signalling. She can indeed call her whatever the heck she wants. Calling her a nasty name is probably not wise, but mispronouncing a name? Of someone not even there? Even intentionally that is the most laughably insignificant and tame thing to get that upset over. Kamala herself can't even say her own name correctly and consistently 😂

Why do they need to apologize exactly? Because they feel like an awful person? Because they believe it's the right thing to do? Because they would be stricken with guilt by NOT apologizing? Because they don't want to be viewed as disrespectful? Nobody needs to apologize for anything. But they certainly shouldn't be doing it because they have to. A sincere apology is not something you can demand or compel, in fact forcing someone to apologize goes against the very notion and purpose behind an apology. An apology should only be given because you want to, never ever because you need to. There are 3 parts to a sincere apology, most people forget the last part but it seems you don't even know the first 2.. and you think you're the kind caring tolerant person here don't you? 🤣 Hilarious.
