As someone who left youtube on autoplay and stumbled upon this when i return to the room.. it will reach the audience it's intended for and will be ignored by those who have even the slightest chemistry knowledge as being fear mongering fluff preying on hypochondriacs. Did you know, despite the clear and obvious dangers of lead, teflon and chlorine gas... I still happily use solder with lead, cook with teflon and swim in chlorinated pools. Cause the benefits far outweigh the risks, heck even drinking distilled water is a risk to humans. If it was truly as dangerous as these documentaries claim, they wouldn't be relying on anecdotal evidence and studies to make their case.. they would simply give a scientific explanation of what the chemicals are doing that is harmful. Same thing with microplastics, it's everywhere.. cool.. i've accidentally eaten plastic, numerous times, even chews plastic pens way back in highschool.. a small plastic pen lid will break down into trillions of microplastic particules when chewed... what's the physical or chemical reaction within the body that should have killed me by now? Cancer you say? The sun causes skin cancer, guess we're not going outside anymore!

@organichuman in chemistry terms, all humans are organic. As are all plants and animals Somehow GMO, which is genetically modified organism (selective breeding in lamens terms) morphed into being "inorganic" and now when i walk through a supermarket i chuckle at things which are twice the price and half the size cause it has "organic" on the label. You know what we commonly refer to as corn isn't "organic" right? Same with bananas. Both have been selectively bred to be the way they are today. An african-american would be considered an inorganic human by this standard - i hope both of your parents are pure bred specimens from the same ethnicity otherwise i hate to break it to you, but you'd be considered inorganic too. If the organic label makes you feel warm n fuzzy inside though, i say keep on eating organic! But you're kidding yourself if you think it's somehow magically better for you. Indoctrinated ignorance indeed, the hippie term for someone who is educated in science.. i'll wear that 🥰

@sgt.freyrpepper1871 how was that DNA inserted? You've said a lot of words without actually saying anything at all, well at best you're trying to say what it is NOT without actually saying what it IS. Do you think scientists sat there individually altering the DNA sequence of each genome in each seed? Please explain, even at a high level, how the corn we know today came into existence if it wasn't selective breeding/pollination? Clear up the misconceptions, no need to categorise people into neat little pigeon holes, let's just talk science. Is corn, as we know it today and looks like this 🌽, a GMO as per your definition and understanding? What scientific process was used to create this yellow, sweet, sucrose rich plant that we commonly know and call corn today? I look forward to your reply 😊
