I find the people stating "there should be no easy mode" are simply gaming elitists. Single player video games are not an exam or test to gauge your abilities, they are a form of entertainment. Sure some people get satisfaction from beating a game on hard - gives them a sense of pride and accomplishment - which is fine and understandable but taking a stance that just because you can do something and feel rewarded by it then everyone else should just be better and meet the same bar is simply a niaive and elitist view. Making a game more accessible to a wider audience is a good thing (particularly for business - the whole don't buy it if its too hard thing is silly) and you'll find this is the view of anyone who cares more about other things in life than whether or not they can finish a certain game. Why should it matter to YOU if someone uses an easy mode or cheats on a single player game - it's their choice and it's up to them what they find rewarding and the journey they want to take. If they enjoyed themselves then thats all that matters - particularly if they paid money for the game / entertainment. To then further insult people who think this way just shows how unempathetic and out of touch you are with people who aren't gaming elitists. Shame cause I had a lot of respect for you before these 'easy mode' / 'sekiro' videos, now I'm torn between whether you're just pandering to what you think is popular opinion of your audience or if you're just one of these gaming elitists. To use an analogy - should standing on top of the himalays and admiring the view be reserved only for expert rock climbers? Does someone who takes a helicopter up there make it any less challenging or diminish the view for the rock climber? You want to go the hard route then great that's impressive but hating on people who want to take the easy route isn't an admirable trait and pretty judgemental.

Weird video, starts strong and finishes weak. Terrible apology. How is eating a cheeseburger have anything to do with the topic or be considered some form of restitution? I'm going to hazard a guess you must have some catholic background since in my experience the only people who use word or enact "penance" are catholic or christian, thing is to a lot of non-catholics penance != restitution You and this video are living proof of the meme that goes along the lines-- A sincere apology has 3 parts: 1) Acknowledgement 2) Remorse and Empathy 3) Restitution (IE what can you do to make it better) Most people forget the 3rd one. So clap clap good job on taking a bite of some edible food, im sure outstar really feels much better now that you did that. You are absolved of all sins my child in the eyes of the lord.. in the eyes of outstar probably not.. which matters more to you? ;) PS - have no idea who outstar is nor ever heard of her before this video, not defending her in any way, just calling out a bad apology as a bad apology... take away the cheeseburger and put a little more emphasis on restitution like the final 15 seconds of this video where you suggest people give her support would have been a more sincere way to go instead of 3 minutes spent focusing on a cheeseburger.. if you were aiming for sincere afterall

Maybe you should read the article before commenting on it with preconceived notions or forming a narrative m8dway through. Eg you have a big blast about some weird insinuation of video games journalism being hard - where is that derived from? The article makes no insinuation of this or even close to it, he's merely painting the picture of 'i spend a lot of time focusing on video games and yet this slipped under my radar' Likewise with the notion that this is some saltyness to being blacklisted. Thats not how the article reads unless your seeing what you want to see, he even states it's not about that and seems sincere as theres no negativity at all in the Forbes article, in fact i challenge you to pinpoint it without some weird long bow assumptions and reading between lines that just aren't there - in your case it seems you have some vendetta against journalists and review copies, so any time you can draw a narrative about this you do so. To me, the article merely reads as "im surprised this game comes out in 4 days and ive seen not much before now" and i agree. I noticed a few things about rage 2 a week or so ago and really not much before that. That is a little odd - how often do SEQUEL games go unnoticed for months, suddenly theres a trailer and btw its being released in a week. Seems only one who is salty is you - people see what they want to see, or believe what they want to believe based on their own thoughts n actions.

5:35 ngl Tate in the title is a bit clickbaity but technically not false.. it's just a very weak link.. the reference is the accusation Thiel/Greenwald own/run Rumble and paid Tate to stream on there
