A decade ago i would agree, but today in 2024 where the definition of rac1sm has skewed to the point where there is a meaningful amount of people who believe it's not possible to be rac1st towards "wh1te" people as they are not deemed a minority or suppressed.. i disagree, it's a thing (as much as i hate it) Aff1rmative action is another term which is just blatant rac1sm by 90's definition but again, in 2024, a meaningful amount of people believe that is not rac1sm. Hence "reverse rac1sm" is as real as "aff1rmative action" not being "rac1sm". The only constant is change... (Mangled with 1's to bypass Rosie, the yt nanny bot who doesnt like public discourse)

A decade ago i would agree, but today in 2024 where the definition of racism has skewed to the point where there is a meaningful amount of people who believe it's not possible to be racist towards "white" people as they are not deemed a minority or suppressed.. i disagree, it's a thing. Affirmative action is another term which is just blatant racism by 90's definition but again, in 2024, a meaningful amount of people believe it is not racism. Hence "reverse racism" is as real as "affirmative action" not being "racism". The only constant is change...

@PandaRizzArg snowflake used to refer to frozen water. Gay used to mean cheerful and happy. Language evolves, when a large majority of people start using a word in a differing way new meanings and terms are created. If everyone started calling the sky green and the leaves on trees blue, guess what? The definitions for blue and green would be updated to reflect their common use. The only constant is change.

@PandaRizzArg is your fridge running? Well you better go catch it before it gets away. Is your mom smoking hot? Well you better throw some water on her before she bursts into flames. When someone uses the term "Reverse racism" it's a colloquialism not literal. It's not intended to be interpreted as being the opposite of discrimination but rather they are describing a distinct type of racism. Could a better word than reverse have been used to prefix the word racism? Sure, but that's not how the real world works kiddo - there are no rules, someone with rizz in their username should know this 😂

@btimbyindy a reverse proxy is still a proxy though, it's just operating in a way that is contrary to popular belief or common understanding. It's actually a perfect equivalence, albeit nerdy though.

@btimbyindy that's why it still has RACIST in it's name. The sides are just reversed. Perfect equivalence 😆
