@nuqwestr i can't recall exact specifics but they couldnt use that water due to topology and much of the higher parts of palisades being above it - hence it had to be pumped up somewhere else to create pressure for those higher areas and the pumps couldn't keep up to the demand. That then caused the lack of pressure when the higher storage tanks ran dry, then to make matters worse, without water to save the power feed for the pumps stopped entirely. I listened to a lengthy press conference about it where some city official guy went through it step by step, i'm sure you can find it...

@davysanders4922 hey its "fucking trousers" dont misquote him... Rudy has different trousers for different occasions.. she should be thankful he wasnt wearing his "bloody trousers" that day or things could have ended differently

Ali G = was funny because the humor didnt center around the victim being pranked, but rather the exaggerated stereotype of the character Ali himself. Borat = was not funny because the humor didnt center around the stereotypes, but rather the victim being fooled by an elaborate believable prank - its akin to fooling a young child that their parent is dead thru the use of a body double/stuntman and the punchline is the child bursting into tears.
