People that claim to be creatives generally hate on ai because they view it as a threat. Rightly or wrongly they believe that they can’t compete. Much of the human created art out there is of a low quality and they know it.

@CrypticEon- because what you call art is low hanging fruit and easily automated. There are so many fields that have been nearly completely replaced by technology, but it is people that believe that their field contains some magical quality that advocate for the law to protect them. If your work can be threatened by ai it is not as valuable as you believe it to be. The Mona Lisa will lose none of its value because of ai.

@ivancabrera3289 if you look at art as a commodity to earn money then the market will determine its value. If the consumer is willing to pay for it it will be produced and the only opinion that matters is the paying customer. If it has no value then it will fade away, but the way that people like you hate and fear it so much shows that the thing that has little value is what is being pushed as being art by humans.
