Washington attorney who represents landlords here. Disagree with this guy's advice. What he's doing is called constructive eviction it won't get the guys out but it will radically increase your expenses.

@carolynsilkett Washington State had many contradictory rules during the corona fiasco. Some of them were made permanent. It's important to understand, that there is a lot of overlapping jurisdiction between state and federal rules. It is also important to understand that most of what you can find online about Washington landlord tenant law, was written by tenant advocacy groups and isn't an accurate statement of the law so much is what they wish it was. AI summaries are even worse. CDC doesn't have direct authority, and HUD may or may not have authority. That all depends on what building it is and what people are involved. Simply put it is way more complicated than it was two or three years ago.

@carolynsilkett wRiting in random Capitals doesn't make you MORE persuasive. This is not adverse possession. I've litigated a few of those. The rest is just a jumble of unrelated legal terms.
