  1. *Promised Innovation, not actual yet. He's promised a few things that he damn well knows can't be made simply to develop hype for his brand. i.e. hyperloop. If he's taking investors on that, he's straight up scamming them.

  2. Apple did at least have several genuine innovations in their early days, a lot of which were Steve Wozniak. The one that most immediately comes to mind is that he invented the first floppy drive almost incidentally to scaling down data storage, and with no fanfare he invented the stepper motor to make that happen. Modern CNC, and the majority of robotics are pretty much impossible without stepper motors.

  3. It can't be built in a way that meets even the most basic claims about what it should do. In energy terms the claim is ~that we can waste $100 to save $20. Yes you can make a vacuum tube at absurd expense. Yes you could make a train with airlocks. No the modest savings of friction would not come even close to matching the energy costs of keeping a presently unfeasible vacuum. It fails on the napkin level calculations about the basic idea. It can't be low energy, because it is assuming the most energy costly aspects are a given and doesn't even discuss them. It's a scam for publicity and maybe funding.
