  1. You'd probably want to replace the leather or core gaskets that it most likely has but otherwise I see no reason why it wouldn't . As a safety matter the people who own other antiques tend to get modern manufactured tanks rather than trust the original. from some of the reading of done some other tanks could be as high as 1500 PSI from hand pump made with leather and cork seals . It's kind of amazing . Not to mention scary . So the sensible thing to do is adapt to modern air tank to old timey appearance and have an adapter made for the thread pattern
