I've used fuel that's like 3 years old in my weed wacker. sputtered a bit but it worked. edit: it was stored in a proper fuel container though, not an open mason jar... guess that shows the importance of proper fuel storage?

  6.  @drewthompson7457  I've heard it's better to buy the premium (high octane) fuel for small engines anyways. from my experience they'll run on just about w.e you stick in them tho lol.

  8. that euros one is scary. I wouldn't trust a chinese rivet to hold a sharp blade whirling around at several thousand RPM... should have stuck a regular sawblade on and compared it too, pretty sure that's what my dad did for a brush blade lol.

  14. there's 2 kinds of electrical tape: shiny and flat black you want the flat black one, the shinny one is cheap garbage. just don't buy your tape at the dollar store... my local hardware store pretty much only stocks one brand of electrical tape anyways.

  20. I'd have been interested in how much they sink in dirt. that was always the issue I had with the metal type, the sharp end would just dig into the ground like a shovel lol.
