  1. I only ever got a smartphone because that's all they sell... I've never used a mobile device as anything but a phone since the 2000s when it was trendy to download questionable ringtones and play snake on a phone. no1 wanted this, now everything needs this. I've never needed a phone for the internet and the internet being more hype has ruined it... so enjoy your shitshow hipsters.

  2. the thing is it actually is required now.... official functions like alerts for public threats and such are exclusive to cellphones now because it's assume everyone has one... it's a public safety issue as this point.
