  2. somehow "bob the sponge" doesn't have the same ring as "spongebob" I don't even actually think that should have been translated as "spongebob" in it's entirety is 1 word and is a name... it's not a description of bob that should be translated. but I guess they really wanted the fact that he's a sponge to be known
