  2. if it's anything like an RPG with a percussion cap type detonator it requires a target of sufficient density to trigger, it seems reasonable if the projectile missed any bones it might not receive the required force. as long as you don't smack the tip or drop it when you pull it out it shouldn't be much more dangerous than loading such a projectile.

  3. how is this even a question? the body is a relatively sterile environment. when you remove it from the body it gives extermal elements the opportunity to colonize or infect it.

  5. fukin world of warships... it's fun if you don't think about how stacked it is and look into wargamings patents to stack matchmaking. and it's not at all surprising... if an explosive gets lodged in you without detonating it's likely not going to by just being poked at. it's been through much more extreme forces, the force of being launched alone is more than a careful removal. this whole thing is just a holywood plot device to excite unenlightened people. that fireworks thing hardly even counts... the design of that sort of thing means if it didn't go off by the time medical help arrived it's never going to.

  12. even though it's a percussion cap detonated explosive and if it wasn't triggered by the impact then pulling it out has about as much chance of detonating it as loading the weapon to begin with... people freak out so much about this sort of thing for no logical reason.
