  2. wow are you ever making canning pickles sound complicated... it's actually not as hard as you're making it sound. also people kept brined pickles in cellars for a long time before anyone invented refrigeration. I don't even bother canning pickles anymore, just put em in brine in a jar in the fridge. they taste better, are easier, and still keep for like 2+ years
