  1. blood letting is still kinda a legitimate medical thing in the right situation... it's just not a cure-all like people once thought.

  2.  @magnusorn7313  you could say the same thing for any medical procedure... most are only relevant in a small handful of situations. you could say "well hip surgery is only needed in like 0.0001% of situations" but that doesn't make it any less legitimate.
