  1. how does that break any laws? it's using external energy... it's just recovering some of it to add more forward momentum... that explanation sucks.... "it goes faster because it slows down the wind"? why not just say the fan is blowing backwards producing additional thrust? it doesn't significantly slow down the craft because the wind is magnitudes larger in scale and still going the same speed so unless there's so much drag that it can't move it'll eventually reach the speed of the wind.  I swear scientists are some of the most close-minded people you'll ever come across.

  5. ya, no... I fully understood the concept that a boat can only match the speed of the wind... the 5 minute explanation of that speed and wind is wasn't needed.
