  10. I live next to one and have never seen an issue. it's just an open crossing too... no barriers, just some lights and bells... no one has ever gotten stuck on the road in that spot, go figure. almost like peoples reliance on signals and signs and things is the problem.

  11. if you think about it, it was really one big war with an intermission... but really, it probably wasn't that bad compared to generations who had to deal with things such as the black plague, the 100 years war, or having their entire civilization wiped out either by disease or conquest or both... you just don't have as many accounts of those events. at least this generation was educated and didn't think god hated them...
