everyone is just so quick to praise anything that looks remotely green they don't even think... now instead of sequestering all that carbon on the bottom of the river they're turning it back into CO2... not to mention the additional pollution from carting all those flowers to a centralized location for this... and what about all that lead and arsenic those poor workers are being exposed to!? and that's then vaporized when these incense are burnt? no one is actually doing any level of thinking here.

@aarushchaubey516 they're literally flowers... they're biodegradable... there's no reason they shouldn't be put in a river. if the flowers contain lead or w.e there's a bigger problem than them being put in the river.

@aarushchaubey516 not my fault no1 wants to swim in shit river to find it >.>

why do your flowers contain lead?! that's the real problem here >.> putting flowers in the water is not a problem, they're biodegradable. now instead of sequestering the carbon on the bottom of the river you're turning it all back into CO2... this is what happens when stupid people try to "fix" non-issues... good job karen.

@aarushchaubey516 what if there's some rare indian fish that's evolved to live off of these discarded flowers and now they all gonna die!? who's gonna deal with all the dead flower fish?

@aarushchaubey516 do you not realize by now I don't have a vested interest in indian rivers? they've been doing this for long enough that it's a religious tradition, I'm sure it's fine.
