  2. here in canada it's mostly the american model but many places do some seasonal produce like asparagus in the spring, corn and berries in the summer, or pumpkins in the fall that you don't see as much of out of season.

  5. the government has decided that people have too much knowledge and are too difficult to fool... therefore they're eliminating what they've deemed "general intelligence" courses in favor of a more specialized education focusing on doing what you're told.

  6. well they aren't being friendly when they ask if they can help you with anything at the store... they do it because studies shows that people like you are afraid to ask for help and it increases sales to ask people if they need help and gets them out of the store faster... also they're literally told to do so by the management.
