  2.  @AspectStudio  the only logical ways to fix it are: 1. simply make it so you have to be a second generation canadian citizen to own real estate in canada. 2. the government needs to fund a LOT more subsidized rent, controlled housing and make it less of a pain to get into. edit:oh ya, and limit people to owning 2 pieces of property... no one needs a dozen houses. if you have that much property you're essentially a real estate company and should be registered and paying taxes on that also.
