@MJW238 if the towns drinking water is open enough that a horse can take a dump in it just imagine all the birds doing the same thing... and birds are much more likely to carry diseases. when's the last time you heard of a horse flu?

@MJW238 I've never seen a buggy being pulled by an entire herd of livestock... when brings us back to the point of why the water source is so open and in the way that there are animals of conveyance pooping in it?
