  2. or maybe they exempt oil because it's inherently more expensive than natural gas and is often delivered by truck to individual tanks where natural gas isn't even available disproportionately effecting rural canadians who already pay more for most things as it would end up getting taxed like 6 times by the time it actually got to the consumer?

  3. what's the point of introducing a tax and giving everyone a rebate?! other than maybe it being easier to cancel benefits than taxes... they never did get rid of that fuel tax they added after WW2 >.>
