  1. well to be fair it wasn't really viable at the time... elon has made a bunch of improvements and poured a bunch of funding into it to make it even kinda decent. we only got one of those charging stations in my area a couple years ago and it's still like a 20min drive away and there are like 6 gas stations on the way there... so ya.
