nop, I knew airplanes still had exemptions allowing them to use leaded fuels... kinda like how ships can use heavy fuel oil... pretty much the only ones subjected to any of this greenwashing BS are consumers...
1
um... mutation breeding is generally done with a more mundane radiation source, not a bomb lol.
1
the troubled rocket child... given all the rocket related accidents over the years, it seems likely if the cold war had ever turned hot at least one those ICBMs would have just blown up upon launch...
1
oh god... a big bank of lithium cells in a mine... that's a great idea...
1
or the other obvious downside... that you can't travel to anywhere that doesn't have a landing site already built... kinda defeats the purpose of a starship.
1
@jamesminett9717 I guess no one is coming back :P
1
going to the moon was a big thing... not everyone has forgotten it was a big thing, even those who weren't around when it happened. elons tricks are a magical thing, but he's still hardly left orbit.
1
heh... I was just wondering this the other day.
1
if there's nothing you can do there's nothing you can do... give yourself some time to process it.
1
figured it had to be the dish from goldeneye :P
1
well that was a waste of what I assume was liquid oxygen...
1
they aren't going to clean that up lmao... there's nothing harmful to the environment there, no reason to pay to clean it up.
1
lets just use trump to power a rocket... he puts out more hot gas than anything.
1
lol... it doesn't matter what korea, no one wants missiles anywhere around there. can you tell me you feel ok with the other korea having missiles? they're only a minefield away from the bad korea...
1
we can't have a bunch of independent companies all launching a grid of satellites... there's already enough junk in space. and we all know china and russia will want to have one too... then india will want one... then africa will want one...
1
anyone else read anime rocket?
1
they fall... and then poor 3rd world countries salvage them for scrap... it's like the food chain of technology.
1
didn't eve pretty much start this whole idea of waiting for timers to progress? I kinda liked the game, but having to wait like 3 days to do the next thing was annoying.
1
there was a story years ago that the government gave NASA a couple old spy satellites that was as good as the hubble but they didn't have a way to get them into space...
1
lmfao... you think asian countries care about their citizens? they just let them sell each other fake vaccines ffs... it's a communist country that will kill half of their population if it benifits them. they don't give half a shit scott.
1
heh... are they powered by whiskey?
1
well... I think everyone's rockets explode the first few times. looked like their combustion chamber blew out or something.
1
region unlocked DVD players... downloading copys of movies onto their devices... so the ISS is essentially doing everything pirates do to watch movies?
1
so you agree it's all fake excuses?
1
the hype would indicate they scrap the whole thing, if not multi-million dollar companies are being lied to. these space things are advertised as being perfect in every way. it's not an airplane that you can simply land and repair, so that industry is kinda a stupid comparison. the only reasonable explanation I've heard so far is just "Russia".
1
so...what's to stop them from adding ridges to the outside of the tanks while being smooth on the inside? you'd think it'd be better to have those important lines and ducts on the inside...
1
as it happens using hot exhaust gasses to power your turbines causes them to explode if the cooling fails...
