  1. I had a cheap chinese fan where the bushings overheated and it ended up shorting out and almost starting a fire ffs... everything is dangerous when corners are cut.

  2. the thing arcs if it trips it's cutout... obviously that could be a fire hazzard especially combined with a thing that heats up the environment speeding the evaporation of flammables.
