  3. so the problem is people plug too much shit into extension cords? they've been telling people not to do that for years... but you could plug like 10 25w lightbulbs into that and it'd be fine if you had 10 tiny lamps... so don't be stupid stupid! edit: besides there's nothing at all stopping people from daisy-chaining extension cords... so there's no point in trying to make extension cords with thicker wire.
