  2. If the squad refuse to vote for the relief Bill, it won't get passed. If the Bill doesn't pass people don't get their relief or unemployment/ the other benefits in the Bill e.g child allowance. You want people to starve and financially suffer all for the sake of political theatre. Why would the squad withhold their votes knowing full well republicans , and some democrats won't vote in favour of a minimum wage increase. The bill would LITERALLY stall and not get passed. It would become a needless back and forth between the two parties. You don't have leverage on something when it won't change or bend to your will. Republicans aren't going to pass the relief Bill if it has a minimum wage increase. It's a lose- lose situation.
