Cuba, even with the mass amount if sanction placed on it, beats Chile in medicine, literacy and infrastructure. Not to mention Pinochets regime of terror and suppression, rural poverty grew under him. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 Sorry.

  8.  @ruffuzx4058  allende was assassinated shortly after he won the election, and before him was another capitalis president. Poverty increased in rural and indeginous parts of chile under Pinochet. His economic model was a disaster, much like Thatcher and Reagan.

  9.  @ruffuzx4058  privatisation only helped those at the top, many rural areas got little to nothing and wealth inequality sky rocketed. Economic growth doesn't always benefit average citizens, especially if the economic wealth is in the hands of the few.
