  4. "MuH DiVeRsItY" isn't the real problem. Crippling wages, a recession, the rise of online shopping and a general change in attitude and culture is what caused the decline of the American mall. Malls were never going to last, and sadly for retail owners the new decade isn't going to be favourable to them. The best thing to do is Convert malls into livable spaces or parks.
