why? the percentage of detransioners or those who reverse transition/regret even transitioning is less than 4%. Every surgical procedure has a regret percentage, some over 40% yet those are still legal and no one talks about banning them, e.g Knee replacement surgery. This just seems like a way to invalidate the over 95% of trans people who not only support transitioning but view it as life saving, which by the way also includes numerous health organisations.

@thucydides7849 More kids have died as a result of shootings than trans individuals who regret their decision to transition and use HRT, which unlike death, is completely reversible. Most detransitioners were only on hormone therapy which is in no way permanent, no matter how much the right wing like to claim they are. Who has died as a result of detransitioning?

@lol-ot4pn puberty blockers have been in use for over 2 decades. If they are legally distributed then guess what, we know enough about them to know they are safe for use. Puberty blockers are commonly used by cis children that undergo early onset puberty, it's fine for that and it's also fine for trans kids.
