Italy is a EU member and compared to even the poorest EU members it still has and for at least 40 years the same debt and increased to 143% GDP. That’s just undefendable. Even if Meloni sold whole Italy it wouldn’t be enough to break even the Debts Italy has. It would be even better if Italy leaves EU so they become a province of Africa without EU support.
