Here in the Netherlands when a famous Dutch film maker was brutally murdered on a busy street, our former prime-minister first went to a mosque because he was afraid if islamophobia and showed thek he was behind them, but he never went to the family of the murdered man. We live in an upside down world. If a man assaults a woman, do we warn against maleophobia or manophobia? Of course not.

Musk just wants to buy his way into UK politics, that is all there is to it. And he thinks he can dictate leaders of our national parties could be sacked, because almighty Elon says so? That would be the same if you worry more for the welfare or kids on the other side of the UK than your own. Then you know something is not right.....

That 1 in 6 children in the US go to bed hungry, he doesn't care. But he does care what haopens here? Really?   29. I watched the BBC almost daily from the Netherlands, bcs it used to be very good. They had great documentaries and series until 2012 or thereabout. I use to watch 1 to 2 hours a day, now only 30 minutes a week, that is how bad it has become.

  31.  @Paul2377  i don't know Richard Tice well (I am from the Netherlands, but I have had a sweetspot for the UK my whole life), but I know Reform UK in general better. But as I see it the Tories have failed, as did Labour. Same on this side of the pond, people kept voting for 3 of the same parties the last 50 years and expect a different outcome. But meanwhile waiting time for a social renting houses is 15 years and it will be 20 years within 5 years. In the larger cities there are neighbourhoods were Dutch isn't spoken anymore. Even the shops have foreign names and texts on the windows and I have been in shops where nobody was able to speak just 1 word Dutch, people who were living here for 10 to 20 years. And beside that we have at least 10 major crises(healthcare, education, compensation for damage houses due to earthquakes caused by drill for gas, etc, etc), even where our government crushed people and took away the children of parents who haven't done anything wrong. And both the main parties on the right and left are to blame for this. So, if we want change we need to vote for someone else. But the parties in power do anything to make life for opposition and new parties hard or almost impossible.

He never said a country should take in millions upon millions, so much so, that the housing shortage goes through the roof and the less priviliged in your country will suffer bcs of it. He said to people who didn't help their parents when they needed help, bcs they said we could not help them, bcs the money we could have given them, we gave to the temple, that they did the wrong thing. This is the same as a country helps newcomers first and spent the money on them, which should have been used for the own poor, elderly, handicapped people. You cannot help one at the cost of others, but that is what happens in the west. That is the same as a parent whose children are hungry, will feed other children a 100km from them first instead of their own.
