  1. Is it age or fame and money which influences? I think that ruins creativity more than age does. I know many bands which had to fight hard to break through, but the record after they became successful are almost always weaker than the record before. And ff course when you are young and just started playing music things are new and so I think you are more enthousiastic, the older you become things get more normal. I enjoyed music more than I do now, because it was all new. Metal, New Wave, Prog Rock, it was all new, but when did we see a new musical style evolve? People copy older styles, there is nothing really new. And there is so much music around us, that is the problem too. When I started to work 6 days a week and 8 to 12 hours a day, the radio was always on. When I got home, I was saturated and had no desire to put on a record. Before that I was at school and when I got home at 4 pm or later I was eager to put my radio on, but if I have listened to music 8 to 12 hours already, I have had more than enough. I wanted to turn the music off at work, but ky collegues couldn't live without it. And I hated it, music I didn't like and new songs played every our for 4 weeks, ughhh. If we eat turkey each and every day, it become normal, nothing special. But if we safe it for special occassions, it is great. So, we should have more time without music, so we enjoy the moments more when the music is on or we make music. Btw have your heard Andy Timmons his new album? That man still makes the most beautiful music, but sadly you never had him on your show. And what about U2? They renew themselves over and over. There are still people out there who didn't lose that creativity, but it comes all down to how much do you really love what you do and if people don't let themselves get saturated with too much music. It is the same with movies, before we had Netflix, we were eagerly awaiting new movies to come out in the theaters or for a new episode of which ever series. But then Netflix and other streaming services entered the market and we could watch movies and series 24/7, so it wasn't that special anymore. There is an overkill of music, movies, series, food, etc and that is what ruins everything!
