  1. Bibles are the same, every Bible tells the same story about Israel and that God sent his Son to free psople from sin to teach how we should live. Some churches have a few books more in the Bible (Bible is a collection of books and letters), but they don't add much and doesn't change it. There is also ONE gospel not four, but four people wrote about it. They sent copies of there letters/gospel to other christians and Jews and gentiles to teach them about Jesus. If you write a letter to you mother about a holiday you went on with your dad, brother and sister and they also all wrote letters about the holiday, than you didn't have 4 holidays, but 1 holiday and 4 people writing about it. And everybody writes differently, so you may write longer sentences than your father and you may tell about your father going for a swim, while your sister don't mention this at all and writes about something your dad did, what you didn't write about it. The same with the gospel, Matthew and john were both eyewitnesses of Jesus and lived and worked with them, Mark often travelled with Peter and wrote what he heard from Peter. And Luke also travelled with the disciples and Paul, so he wrote what he heard and probably read in the gospel written by Matthew. Jesus could read and write, he wasn't illetrate. He often went to the synagogue and read from the Torah, like is mentioned in Luke 4: 16 He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, 17 and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,     because he has anointed me     to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners     and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, 19     to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” So, he could read and also he was taught by the Holy Spirit. He spoke Armeic/Hebrew and also Greek (he spoke to the Romans and Greeks who lived in Judea (part of Israel). Some say he was born on 25 December, but some say it was in March, but it is not really important.
